From breeding costs and supply and demand to rarity, genetics, quality, and market trends, there's a lot more that goes into pricing captive-bred reptiles than simply picking a number. We're discussing how breeders determine their prices, what buyers should consider when evaluating an animal, and whether the reptile market accurately reflects the work that goes into producing healthy, quality animals.
