#483 - Kyle Thompson // The Greatest: Jesus

We contrast Alexander the Great’s hunger for glory with Jesus’ refusal to take the devil’s shortcut to power. We land on the empty tomb and the difference between knowing facts about Jesus and trusting that His finished work counts for you.  • Scripture as the sword of the Spirit for the fight  • Satan’s offer of the kingdoms and the demand for worship  • Alexander’s push to be treated like a god king  • Matthew 4 and Jesus’ firm refusal to bow  • Philippians 2 and Jesus choosing humility over grasping  • Last words that reveal two kinds of kings  • The resurrection as proof death cannot hold Christ  • A challenge to cross from knowledge to belief  Before you go, if you want to help equip other men for the fight, share this podcast around and leave us a five star rating and review.  Support the show Want to connect?
