The Dented Puck Podcast was the spark that started a movement. As our initial effort to grow awareness of our adaptive sport in the hockey community, the podcast was paramount to getting the stories of our peers to the world. In summer of 2021, The Windy City Blind Hockey Showdown was born. The Foundation a multi-faceted organization focused on three pillars of awareness, participation, and support. Our work since pandemic has made "The Dented Puck" synonymous with blind hockey in the US, and positioned ourselves as THE catalysts for blind hockey/s inclusion in the 2034 Salt Lake City Paralympic Games. 🏒 Bring a Team to the Showdown! We are opening our Windy City Showdown V up to the entire hockey community. Hosting a 16 team charity event running parallel to our blind hockey tournament. Grab your beer league buddies, your college buddies, or just some randos from pick-up and support an awesome group of athletes while playing some puck.
