Rob Hwang Brings the Beef!

Our host Michael is joined by first-time guest Rob Hwang (X: @rob11hwang) to discuss Lee Sungjin's TV show Beef. The pair discusses the racial and cultural connections that they feel to the characters in the show, including Michael's huge attachment to the half-Korean character Austin! Throughout the conversation, Michael and Rob break down the beefs, examining intergenerational issues and the racial insecurities on display between characters. Representation matters, and we are both so happy to see Netflix supporting Lee Sungjin's show this way. Thank you so much for listening, and subscribe for more episodes if you liked what you heard.
