Oktober Fairs

Episode Highlights: October is bringing out the lederhosen, the local vendors, and the holiday spirit on the Double R Show! Joan Roening from St. Peter the Fisherman Lutheran Church joins us to talk about their upcoming Oktoberfest on Saturday—good food, good company, and a little taste of Bavaria on the coast. Then Son Phil is back to give us the scoop on the Senior Fair, highlighting the vendors, organizations, and folks who will be there to connect with the community.  And just when you think October is all about fairs and fests, we look ahead to December with a teaser for the Angels Ball & Fantasy of the Trees, benefiting Angels Anonymous. We’ll talk about ways local businesses and community members can get involved by sponsoring a tree, wreath, or other raffle items. So grab your calendar—and maybe your appetite. It’s a Double R Show full of fairs, fests, and a little holiday magic waiting in the wings!
