Why I Hit an Energetic Wall in Vancouver Island

Understanding how land energy changes across different geographies can help us navigate our own relationship to place.    Host Maureen Calamia interviews Dawn Kirkham to explore the distinct shift in atmosphere between England and Vancouver Island. They discuss how colonization impacts the subtle feeling of the earth, examining why specific locations carry a weight or resistance that can feel like a physical barrier.    This conversation examines the importance of respecting energetic boundaries when walking through new spaces. Dawn shares a personal experience where she felt as if she hit a wall, illustrating how our nature connection is deeply influenced by the history and resonance of the ground beneath our feet.
