The Glow Up

Girrrrrrrrrrl, IYKYK Lauren Conrad dropped an ICONIC line in The Hills when she told Heidi, "I wanna forgive you... and I wanna forget you." Who in your life has dome damage beyond repair to the point where you can't forgive and make up and quite literally want to forget them? Sis, today we're talking about how a situation can continue to affect your life until you make the decision to forgive the person. Of course, I had to spill a lil bit of my personal business, and we're journalling our thoughts and reflections, and as always, we're getting into an appropriate Lyric Dissection as we look at India Arie's Heart of the Matter. 

Money, money, money, moneyyyy! Let's get into making money and most importantly having financial literacy and a healthy relationship with money. I've got you with your money affirmation for the week, and we're getting into Mary J Blige's Rent Money when we Dissect The Lyrics. 

What's good girlies?! We're in our rebrand season and deciding that we're here for the soft life as of today. We're not going to show up as the 'strong black woman' the world has forced us to be. We're redefining strength and how we embrace it. Also, Jazmine Sullivan dropped Heaux Tales Mo' Tales The Deluxe and we're getting into the lyrics as we do. Class is in session! 

Hey family! Now you know everyone and their mama won't stop singing this Gunna song, so we flipped it and today we're pushing PURPOSE. We're tapping into how we best position ourselves to actualise our purpose and being on this earth and we're getting into pragmatic tools to help us on our journey and of course a weekly affirmation that we can speak over ourselves while we're at it.

Hey family! I might not always come when you call, but I'm right on time. Let me start by wishing you a Happy 2022, and we are getting straight to the business. It's not too late to start strategising and planning for this year, if you haven't yet done so. And if you have, let's become practical about how we won't fall off. We're talking about how we are positioning ourselves to have the best year yet & the only way to to do is by being intentional and setting short term vs long term goals. This year we vow to take care of our physical, mental and spiritual health. We vow to level up and take our careers and education to the next level. We also vow to live a balanced life and take the time we need and desire to rest, ensure we are happy and do the things that we enjoy.
