What Traveling the World Teaches You About Creativity and Faith | Craig D. Forrest, Filmmaker

After visiting over 160 countries and witnessing the most frightening, heartbreaking and tense situations around the world - what happens to your faith? And what does it take to tell stories that impact people who will never see what you saw?  After more than four decades as a TV director, documentary filmmaker, media professor, and global trainer—working across 160+ countries— Craig D. Forrest has seen everything a creative could imagine. In this episode, he shares  what the world actually looks like beyond the stereotypes and headlines, and how his faith shaped his ability to tell stories most would never hear otherwise.  You'll discover how exposing yourself to new cultures and faiths can actually strengthen (not weaken) your convictions, how to find opportunities in a demanding industry like film and TV, and how to stay connected to the true source of creativity and clarity in an ever changing world.
