NOTE: in this episode we mentioned The Proclaimers. After we recorded it, we found out that they support people who are punching down on some of the most vulnerable people in our society. The Good Robot Andys love our trans listeners and vehemently disagree with those who seek to silence or hurt you. The Andys remember the career of Sam Neill, from The Hunt for Red October, via Jurassic Park, to Event Horizon and more. The Andys go through the best and most influential horror movies of the 21st century (so far) – this time it’s films from 2014. The Babadook is a gripping horror about a family living with the loss of their husband and father, It Follows is a creeping inevitable horror about how no-one should ever have sex, and Unfriended is an intense found-footage horror all taking place on a video call. Andy B reckons all three should go on his watch list.
