The Hawkeye Huddle

Pardon the technical difficulties, but there is a show...part on computer microphone, part on phones, and part on regular microphones. Trent Condon of The Lunch Rush on 1350 and the Locked On Iowa podcast sits in for David for a solid discussion of the weekend that was in Iowa City as the college football world got a great taste of why Iowa City is special. Lots of football talk of course too, and some hoops recruiting news to get you set for Iowa's visit to Washington for a huge game this week.

A win for the ages in Ann Arbor has the boys celebrating mightily yet keeping an eye on the next big hurdle, this week’s tilt with Ohio State at Kinnick.

With a convincing and thorough beating of Northern Iowa in the rearview, the nonconference season is a success. Now it’s time to step up to the big time and take on the Wolverines of Michigan in the big house this week! Is Iowa ready? The boys try to figure it all out.

A closer than expected win over Iowa State probably should have been expected and the boys break it down fully as well as talk about the big recruiting weekend in Iowa City.

Finally, the boys have a game to dissect. But the opponent and the on-field temps make it difficult to tell as much as they'd like. None-the-less, it's hate week with Iowa State on tap for Saturday.
