What happens after you finally sit behind the mic — and realize people are actually listening? Everyone has their own motivation for starting a podcast. The motivation is one part. Then comes the journey: the challenges, the second-guessing, the information overload, the opinions of others, and that voice inside your head driving you crazy. So… what’s your style? How do you want to manage it?  It’s your show. Podcasting may be the beginning of a whole new path for your life. Who knows where it will lead you? But what about the impact you have once you decide to sit behind the mic? Are you aware of the responsibility that comes with it? Whether you know it or not, whether you intend it or not, you will influence others. This first-ever podcasters panel turned out to be about so much more than experienced podcasters and entrepreneurs sharing their whys, journeys, challenges, and expertise. Relationships were built right here on this panel — and that, too, is the power of podcasting. As a podcaster, I’m taking that responsibility seriously: to show up authentically, create meaningful conversations, and bring real value to both upcoming podcasters and the old-timers who have been behind the mic for years. This may be the first podcasters panel. But it won’t be the last.
