The Inner Room Podcast

What happens when the Church slowly drifts from the faith once delivered to the saints? In this episode of The Inner Room, Bishop Mark Chironna and Pastor Michael Koulianos return to the center and fullness of the Christian story: the crucified, risen, and ascended Lord. They discuss the cross as Christ’s throne, why the risen Jesus still bears His wounds, how Scripture and the historic faith safeguard the gospel, the place of the creed and Eucharist, sacred imagery, and the ways God communicates through beauty and creation. If this conversation strengthens you, share it with a pastor, leader, or friend and subscribe for the next discussion on worshiping the Father in spirit and in truth.

Can something sound profound without being prophetic? In Part 2 of this special Inner Room conversation, Dr. Mario Hood continues his discussion with Bishop Mark J. Chironna about his new book, Baptized Speculation: Drowning in the Waters of Counterfeit Revelation. Together they explore the difference between human insight, personal projection, and genuine prophetic speech. Bishop Chironna explains why observation and interpretation are natural human capacities, but neither automatically carries the authority of revelation. In a culture shaped by speed, platforms, and pressure to perform, prophetic integrity requires the discipline to pause, discern, and sometimes remain silent. The conversation also examines what healthy prophetic ministry should look like in the local church, why the testimony of Jesus must remain cross-shaped, and how dominionist ideology has distorted prophetic witness in parts of the contemporary Church. This episode calls believers back to patient attention, communal discernment, theological faithfulness, and a prophetic life centered on the crucified and risen Christ.
