Send us Fan Mail What does Jesus mean when He says, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love”? In John 15, Jesus is preparing His disciples for some of the darkest hours of their lives. They are about to see Him arrested, beaten, crucified, and seemingly defeated. And yet, in the middle of that fear and uncertainty, Jesus gives them an incredible promise: He loves them. Not with a weak or temporary love. Not with a love that disappears when they fail. Jesus says, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.” In this episode of the Isaiah 43 Podcast, we look at what it means to abide in the love of Christ, what faithful Christian living actually looks like, and how the fruit of the Spirit demonstrates the work Christ is doing in us. But more than anything, we stop and consider just how incredible the love of God really is. Romans 8 tells us that nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Our faithfulness may fail. Our strength may fail. Our circumstances may change. But Christ remains faithful. So what do we do when we fall into sin? When we feel distant from God? When we fail Him again? We don't run away from Christ. We run back to Him. Because the Christian life isn't about becoming worthy enough for Christ to love us. It is about abiding in the love He has already poured out upon us. You may never fully understand the love of God. But you can spend the rest of your life abiding in it
