When God Shuts Down the Party: The Writing on the Wall | Daniel 5

In this episode of The Joe Rooz Show Sunday Bible Study, we continue our journey through the Book of Daniel with chapter 5 and the dramatic account of Belshazzar's feast, the handwriting on the wall, and the fall of Babylon. While the king celebrates behind seemingly impenetrable walls, judgment is already approaching. We examine the arrogance of mocking the things of God, the dangers of spiritual complacency and false security, and Daniel's courageous refusal to compromise his convictions for worldly rewards. What does it mean to be weighed in the balances and found wanting? How do we recognize the spiritual dangers around us, protect our families, and remain grounded in the word of God? From the downfall of an ancient empire to the challenges facing believers today, Daniel 5 reminds us that earthly power is temporary, God's warnings must never be ignored, and the Lord remains sovereign over the rise and fall of kingdoms.
