The Butch Army with Kade Kasper

Erin talks with personal trainer and certified gay person on the internet Kade Kasper about butchness, gender, masculinity, and figuring out who you want to be when the examples you’ve been handed don’t quite fit. They get into building a masculinity that protects rather than possesses, what it means to belong to lesbian culture, and why identity gets a whole lot easier when we stop trying to turn it into a set of rules. Plus: gym books, carabiners, gender calculus, and the formation of the Butch Army. You can find Kade here.
