Description
Apostle Paul’s “love chapter” was written to a church in Corinth which he believed lacked love. This session explains why great gifts, strong faith, and even abundant giving amount to a “noisy gong” without love. Love isn’t a feeling or a possession. It’s action: seeking the good of others, even enemies, the way Christ loved us. Father Reid walks us through Paul’s opening warnings, trace the command to love across Galatians, Colossians, Ephesians, and Romans, and begin looking at love’s first traits: patient, kind, not envious, not boastful. Father Reid also teaches us a tough truth that love like this is impossible in our own and requires Christ’s power. The episode ends with a call to examine our own lives and pray for a more loving heart.
