<p>After Labor Day Weekend home improvement plans fell through. Richard and his wife Belinda made the last-minute decision to take their 2 children 5-year-old David and 5-month-old Melissa and their Basset Hound Droopy and go on a camping trip in the Siskiyou Mountains in Copper Oregon. This seemingly normal camping trip would end up going from a missing persons case to a homicide case in a period of months.
