Adverse Childhood Experiences
In this episode, Dr Felicity Cooksey speaks to Dr Kate McCann about adverse childhood experiences. Dr Kate McCann is a community child health consultant and member of the Trauma Informed Strategy Group in Somerset. We discuss how adverse childhood experiences may impact a child’s development and the importance of recognising and responding to childhood trauma.
