Singer/Songwriter Meg Lui is here to talk about her long-awaited debut album, Instant Validation, which was co-produced by Sufjan Stevens for his own Asthmatic Kitty Records label. Along the way, Meg talks about the Catskills community she shares with partner/collaborator Keenan O'Meara, musical theater, why she dropped out of Berklee, the constant risk of being slaves to our digital devices, and why an album with "instant" in its title took so long to realize. The Record Store Day Podcast is a weekly music chat show written, produced, engineered, and hosted by Paul Myers, who also composed the theme music and selected interstitial music. Executive Producers (for Record Store Day) Michael Kurtz and Carrie Colliton. Please consider subscribing to our podcast wherever you get podcasts, and tell your friends, we're here every week and we love making new friends!
