From Overlooked to Undeniable | The Rick H. Show | Ep. 243

Send us a Message! What happens when years of hard work, sacrifice, disappointment, and refusing to give up finally start getting recognized? In Episode 243 of *The Rick H. Show*, Rick Hierro reflects on one of the most exciting chapters of his podcasting journey. With **9 Latin Podcast Award nominations for The Rick H. Show** and **7 nominations for The 2:00AM Crew**, Rick celebrates an incredible **16 nominations across two podcasts**—recognition that represents years of dedication, countless hours behind the microphone, and an unwavering belief in his craft. But the journey doesn't stop there. Rick is also competing in **Top Host**, a competition associated with iHeart and Ryan Seacrest, with a grand prize of **$25,000, a six-episode podcast produced by iHeart, and a guest appearance on *On Air with Ryan Seacrest*.** Beyond the nominations and opportunities, Rick opens up about the challenges of being an independent creator, the frustration of feeling overlooked, the pressure of constantly proving yourself, and the moments when walking away seemed easier than continuing. He reflects on the people who supported him, the setbacks that tested his confidence, and the importance of believing in your own work even when recognition doesn't come. Because sometimes the biggest victory isn't winning an award. **It's refusing to let rejection convince you that your dreams aren't worth chasing.** This isn't a victory lap. It's a reminder that the journey is far from over. **From overlooked to undeniable. The work speaks for itself.** 🎙️ *The Rick H.
