Oh When The Saints | Build - Pastor Christian Lake

We challenge the way believers label themselves and reclaim the New Testament identity of saints as something received, not achieved. We unpack what it really means to build the church without chasing a personal platform, and we invite you to bring your gift into the house Jesus is building.  • Saints as a New Testament identity regardless of past behaviour  • Revival versus roots and why both formation and the Spirit matter  • Building projects as a metaphor for spiritual maturity and mission  • The Tower of Babel as building for our own name  • The church as God’s plan to reclaim the nations  • Serving without entitlement and trusting the Lord to build  • Spiritual gifts as open-ended and meant to edify the body  • Hospitality and encouragement as powerful gifts in real life  • Unique gifts that are not irreplaceable and why love matters most  • Building for Jesus’ name and leaving a legacy we may never see
