We’re back! Happy New Year dear listeners! We leap into 2018 with a longtime friend of the cast, Callum Smith also known as Whitefaces on MtgtheSource and Magic Online. In this cast we take an in-depth look at the new Miracles lists that Callum has helped to pioneer and examine the strengths and weaknesses of these “topless miracles” decks. We also look at Canadian Threshold, a deck which Sean and friends have been carving up the tournament scene with here in Australia and around the world. https://thesaltminesite.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/salt-mine-ep-16-attempt-3.mp3 Download Callum’s Miracles: 20 LANDS 1 Arid Mesa 4 Flooded Strand 4 Island 1 Misty Rainforest 2 Plains 1 Polluted Delta 1 Scalding Tarn 3 Tundra 3 Volcanic Island 3 CREATURES 3 Snapcaster Mage 30 INSTANTS and SORC. 4 Brainstorm 1 Council’s Judgment 2 Counterspell 1 Entreat the Angels 4 Force of Will 4 Ponder 3 Portent 3 Predict 4 Swords to Plowshares 4 Terminus 7 OTHER SPELLS 2 Counterbalance 3 Jace, the Mind Sculptor 2 Search for Azcanta SIDEBOARD 1 Council’s Judgment 2 Disenchant 3 Flusterstorm 2 Monastery Mentor 2 Pyroblast 1 Red Elemental Blast 1 Snapcaster Mage 3 Surgical Extraction Callum’s articles on Miracles: Matchup analysis and sideboarding On Win-Cons Nicklas Lallo’s (itisunfair) Miracles Deckbuilding FAQ The Library at Pendrell Vale – The home of UK Eternal Magic Jarvis Yu’s Youtube channel Miracles vs Eldrazi and the hardcast terminus line Jeff Hoogland’s Youtube channel.
