Episode 233: I’m Dangerous Tonight (1990) (with David Arnold of Fear Coded)

In a first for our show, we’re covering a made-for-TV movie, and we couldn’t have picked a better one to talk about. If you’re feeling scandalous, you could do a lot worse than I’m Dangerous Tonight. Tobe Hooper may be asleep at the wheel directing Natalie Schafer’s final film role, but there’s still a lot to discuss with this one. So put on your finest red dress and make sure you’ve got at least two big bottles of vodka and three gallons of ice cream as we discuss the movie, plus other great moments such as JT getting upset at how dance scenes are filmed in movies, the “gayest space”, how to properly pronounce “Tobe”, and so much more with returning guest David Arnold of Fear Coded. You can check out Fear Coded here. You can also check out the Glitterjaw Queer Podcast Collective here. I’m Dangerous Tonight stars Mädchen Amick, Corey Parker, Daisy Hall, R. Lee Ermey, Dee Wallace, Natalie Schafer, Mary Frann, Jason Brooks, and Anthony Perkins. Directed by Tobe Hooper.
