186 The Living Room Design Debacle

In the six years we have been in our home, the living room has been redone three times and is now heading to a fourth revision. The problem is balancing our chosen design esthetic and comfort and functionality. Our 1956 constructed home falls into the the "mid century" category but NOT mid century modern which is where we have tried to take the living room. After our third round of changes, we are thinking that the first edition may have been the best and we should have left well enough alone....Should we spend the time and money to go back? Have we lost our minds? Oh the pain of being interior design enthusiasts!!!
