Second to None: Dan Coonan Returns to Talk Little League Magic, His Third Book and the Future of Collegiate Flag Football

In this episode of The Spin Chicks podcast, Michelle and Erika welcome back their very first guest ever - Dan Coonan, ECAC Commissioner and author of three books. This time, Dan trades the presidential saloon of his first two novels for the fields of Williamsport with his third book, Second to None. Co-written with the coach of the 2023 El Segundo championship team, Danny Boehle, the book tells the story of Dan's own hometown Little League winning it all. Interviewing names like George Brett, Julie Foudy, Karl Ravech and Lars Nootbaar for the book, he also tells our listeners why Williamsport belongs in a class with Wrigley, Fenway and Cooperstown. Plus, Dan puts his commissioner hat back on to talk about the ECAC's groundbreaking partnership with the New York Jets to launch the largest collegiate women's flag football league in the country. Tune in for a conversation about baseball, storytelling and second acts!
