Spooky Doings: Manic Cop with Paul Downey

Rick welcomes Paul Downey back to the show with an apology about scheduling before discussing Maniac Cop. We get into guerilla filmmaking in New York, how Tom Atkins has fucked ALL of our moms, Bruce Campbell, Jake LaMotta, Richard Roundtree, Bill Lustig & more. We also chat about the sequels, that astounding stunt at the end of the first film, buying physical media sight unseen, how Maniac Cop might be standard operating procedure for the NYPD & Rick gives Paul hid flowers by informing him that his book, The Shark Is Roaring was available for sale at the Museum Of The Moving Image in Astoria Queens.
