Episode 232: The Mortuary Collection (2019) (with Michael Moss)

We haven’t had a Spooky Linings month in quite some time around here, but we do this season, and we’re using it to discuss a very odd anthology film with 2019’s The Mortuary Collection. Interesting visuals and fun setups unfortunately don’t pay off in most of the segments, and there are clear indications of a green director behind most scenes. That being said, there are some genuinely great moments in this movie, so make sure you grab protection and lock your doors as we rip into this one plus discuss such topics as applying for jobs you’re overqualified for, blending meals, the prophecy and etymology of “67”, and confronting our returning guest Michael Moss about the Hamnet trailer. The Mortuary Collection stars Barak Hardley, Jacob Elordi, Brennan Murray, Ema Horvath, Michael Bow, Anthony Fontana, and Tristan Byon. Directed by Ryan Spindell.
