We Will Not

“We will not.” Those are powerful words, especially when they become our response to biblical preaching. In today’s Biblical Alert, we examine an attitude of rebellion that can surface when preaching touches close to home. Whether the subject is dress, entertainment, sports, medicine, personal habits, or another area of life, the real question is not simply, “Do I agree with the preacher?” The greater question is, “What will I do when the Word of God speaks?” Using the sobering warning that “rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry,” this episode challenges pastors’ wives, church families, parents, daughters, and every believer to examine the attitude of the heart. When Scripture draws the line, will we humbly submit to God’s Word, or will our hearts answer, “We will not”? This is today’s Biblical Alert.
