Will Hurricane Isaias Change Your Gulf Cruise? Plus Four Booking Deadlines Before October 19 | October 8, 2026

Hurricane Isaias is heading for the northern Gulf Coast, Carnival is watching twelve sailings, and four booking deadlines land in the next eleven days, so this is the Thursday cruise update to hear before you book or pack. In this Wander With Milford cruise update, Milford explains what Isaias means for sailings out of New Orleans, Tampa and Galveston, why "no changes yet" can turn into a port swap fast, why your flight may be the bigger headache this weekend, and what Carnival is giving guests after Carnival Spirit's unscheduled repair stop in Honolulu. You'll also hear about the Disney Believe reveal, with the world's first Encanto stage musical, a Frozen family dining venue and a Magic Kingdom-inspired Tower Suite; the Arcadia and Queen Anne fleet swap between P&O, Holland America and Cunard; Carnival Adventure's 2028 move to Seattle; and why Labadee is still off the map. This week's updates include: • Hurricane Isaias: Hurricane Warning from Ocean Springs, MS to the Bay/Gulf County line, FL; Carnival monitoring six ships and twelve sailings, with no changes announced as of the latest guest notices • Carnival Spirit: Victoria cancelled and Seattle return pushed to October 9; the Panama Canal repositioning cruise to Mobile shortens to 15 nights and skips Cabo • Princess Plus and Premier go up $5 per person per day and Wi-Fi plans change on October 13 • Royal Caribbean adds two earlier Hero of the Seas sailings (August 1 and 8, 2027), with change fees waived until October 14 • Norwegian's 50% off all cruises sale ends October 16 at 11:59 p.m. ET • Disney Believe: maiden voyage December 18, 2027 from Port Everglades; Castaway Club booking starts October 12, general booking October 19 • Arcadia joins Holland America in late 2029, and Queen Anne moves from Cunard to P&O in May 2029 • Carnival Adventure sails Alaska from Seattle May to September 2028 • Royal Caribbean's Labadee visits stay suspended through June 2027 Before a deadline or a storm pushes you into a rushed decision, Wander With Milford helps you compare the real price, restrictions and overall value.
