Alex The Hex Doctor returns to The Wandering Road for another deep dive into magic, necromancy, religion, folklore, and the unseen. Alex explains what necromancy actually means within his practice, including the idea of “feeding the dead” through offerings and maintaining a relationship with spirits rather than simply invoking them when something is wanted. We also explore the traditions surrounding cemeteries and their spiritual guardians. Alex discusses approaching the spirit associated with the cemetery gate, acknowledging its presence, and asking permission before attempting to work with the dead inside. The conversation also turns toward religion and the long history of fear surrounding magic within Abrahamic traditions. Why are certain rituals labeled sacred while others are condemned as witchcraft? Where exactly does the boundary between religion and magic begin? Alex also shares his perspective on power and why he believes it may reveal who a person truly is rather than fundamentally changing them. From cemetery spirits and necromancy to Tolkien, fairies, religious belief, and the hidden rules behind magical practice, this conversation explores what happens when we look beyond the surface of traditions surrounding death and the supernatural. If the dead still have a presence, are there rules for approaching them? And what happens when those rules are ignored? 🎙️ The Wandering Road Podcast TikTok: @twrpodcast Instagram: @twroadpodcast YouTube: @TWRpod Facebook: The Wandering Road Podcast #necromancy #witchcraft #occult #spiritwork #cemetery #magick #folklore #paranormal #highstrangeness #ritualmagic Support the show SOCIAL MEDIA Twitter: @TWRoadpodcast IG: twroadpodcast Want to be a guest or share your paranormal experiences?  Email us!
