Our Thoughts On Deadline Day & Krejci NEEDS To Start!

Wolves scored six goals across two games, but deadline day has left supporters with plenty of questions. Sam, Harry and Jack begin with the 4-1 win over Stoke City as Rodrigo Gomes’ quick-fire double turns the game around, Raul Jimenez keeps his nerve from the penalty spot and Jordan James makes another strong case for a starting place. Attention then turns to the chaotic 4-2 defeat at West Ham. The team discuss Wolves’ electric opening, another defensive collapse and whether Ladislav Krejci and Santiago Bueno must now replace Toti Gomes at the back. With the transfer window closed, Harry and Jack deliver very different verdicts on Wolves’ business. Did the club underdeliver on its promises, or does keeping players such as Krejci, Bueno, Andre and Mateus Mane make this a strong Championship squad? There is also reaction to Sean Neave’s arrival and the departures of Hwang Hee-chan, Sasa Kalajdzic, Sam Johnstone and Joao Gomes. Finally, the team preview Sunday’s trip to Birmingham City, debate whether Krejci and Jordan James should start and make their score predictions.
