<p><strong>About our Guest:</strong></p>
<p>Phillip has enjoyed a 30+ year career as a high school mathematics teacher but is now excited to explore another of his lifelong passions, writing. He has been a closet writer for many years, sharing only with family and close friends. In 2022, he began writing in earnest and experimented with short fiction published in a monthly newsletter for two years.</p>
<p>Phillip and his wife live in southeastern Virginia, where they stay busy updating an old farmhouse (which is more of a journey than a destination) and keeping up with their four adult children.</p>
<p>Most mornings she patiently listens to the dreams he had during the night and wishes that those people living in his head would begin to pay rent and stop free-loading.</p>
<p>Lastly, Phillip is extremely salty that he did not receive an invitation to try out as the host for Jeopardy!, but reluctantly agrees that Ken Jennings does an acceptable job.</p>
