The King has Arrived Series: Luke Date preached: 20th September 2026 TIDE Church is a diverse community of people on a mission to follow the teaching and life of Jesus. We are a Christian church based in Adelaide, Australia who are sharing the good news of Jesus with people everywhere. Today’s message … After three years of talking about God’s “kingdom”, Jesus finally stands up and in the coolest way possible says “I am the king you’ve been waiting for”. It wasn’t what people were expecting … and it’s probably not what you expect when you hear that Jesus is the king, but that’s what makes it even MORE AMAZING!!! Questions to reflect on and discuss from this message: 1. THINK: what is one thing that really stuck out to you in this message? 2. FEEL: how does this message make you feel? 3. DO: what will you do this week in response to this message? 4. BE: who am I becoming? If you’ve got questions or want to connect, we’d love to hear from you. The Mercy Rule Series: Luke Date preached: 13th September 2026 TIDE Church is a diverse community of people on a mission to follow the teaching and life of Jesus. We are a Christian church based in Adelaide, Australia who are sharing the good news of Jesus with people everywhere. Today’s message … Most of us think we’re good people. Most of us think that if there’s a heaven, we probably deserve to be there. Today we listen to Jesus’ radical teaching about what it takes to get into heaven … his thoughts were totally upside down from what people thought he should say. 2000 years later, Jesus’ teaching STILL mess with our ideas about who’s good and who’s not and what it takes to be “good” with God. Prepare to be surprised. Questions to reflect on and discuss from this message: 1. THINK: what is one thing that really stuck out to you in this message? 2. FEEL: how does this message make you feel? 3. DO: what will you do this week in response to this message? 4. BE: who am I becoming?
