What is God really looking for in His people? Can you experience God's blessings, practice religion, and still be spiritually far from Him? They enjoyed God's blessings and practiced religion, but their hearts remained unchanged. Privilege without transformation produces corruption. But Isaiah 4 reveals the hope of the gospel. Through the Branch of the Lord—Jesus Christ—God is cultivating a people who belong to Him. Even through suffering, trials, and discipline, He is working to produce holiness, righteousness, and lasting spiritual fruit.
