The Book of Enoch: Was It Really Removed From the Bible?
Was the Book of Enoch really removed from the Bible? And does this ancient text reveal hidden truths about fallen angels, the Nephilim, UFOs, Antarctica, and secrets the government doesn't want you to know? The Book of Enoch is exploding across social media, fueled by claims that it was deliberately removed from the Bible because it contains information about supernatural beings, forbidden technology, and mysteries hidden from humanity. The controversy gained attention after Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna discussed alleged interdimensional beings, government UFO investigations, and the Book of Enoch during podcast appearances. But what does the Book of Enoch actually say—and was it ever removed from the Bible? In this episode of The Deep End, Pastor Tim Hatch separates the biblical and historical evidence from viral conspiracy theories. Tim examines claims connecting Enoch, fallen angels, the Watchers, Nephilim, UFOs, NASA and Antarctica, including theories about supernatural beings imprisoned beneath the Antarctic ice. Then we tackle the bigger questions: Who decided which books belong in the Bible? Why isn't Enoch in most Christian Bibles? And if Enoch isn't Scripture, why does Jude quote it? Tim examines the Old Testament canon, the dating of 1 Enoch, the Ethiopian Orthodox tradition, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Jude 14–15, and whether quoting an ancient source makes the entire book inspired Scripture. • Was the Book of Enoch really removed from the Bible? • Anna Paulina Luna, Enoch & interdimensional beings • Does Enoch describe aliens or advanced technology? • Fallen angels, the Watchers & Nephilim • Genesis 6 and the “sons of God” • Enoch, Antarctica & the supposed frozen prison • NASA, ANITA & mysterious Antarctic radio signals • What the Book of Enoch actually contains • Why isn't Enoch in most Christian Bibles? • The Ethiopian Orthodox Church & Enoch • How the biblical canon developed • Why Jude quotes the Book of Enoch • The Dead Sea Scrolls & Enoch • Can Christians trust the Bible we have today? The deeper question isn't simply, “What books were left out of the Bible?” It's this: What are we doing with the Bible that's already in our hands? Before chasing secret knowledge, hidden books and viral theories, Christians should know the Word God has already given us. 📖 GET THE ISAIAH DEVOTIONAL JOURNAL Get your copy of Pastor Tim Hatch’s Isaiah devotional journal and follow along with the upcoming Bible study through the book of Isaiah. Why Is America Cheering for Lindsay Clancy?
Why is America cheering for Lindsay Clancy? As the Lindsay Clancy trial nears a verdict, supporters are rallying behind the Massachusetts mother who killed her three young children—Cora Clancy, Dawson Clancy, and Callan Clancy. The case has ignited a national debate over postpartum psychosis, mental illness, criminal responsibility, justice, motherhood, and accountability. Was Lindsay Clancy suffering from postpartum psychosis that left her not criminally responsible for her actions? Did the medical system fail her? Or are we allowing compassion for mental illness to erase personal responsibility for horrific acts? In this episode of The Deep End, Pastor Tim Hatch examines the strongest arguments being made in Lindsay Clancy's defense before responding to them from a Christian and biblical worldview. Tim examines Clancy's reported postpartum psychosis diagnosis, alleged command hallucinations, psychiatric treatment and medications, her stay at McLean Hospital, testimony from medical professionals, and the argument that doctors and the mental-health system failed her. He also looks at the growing pro-Lindsay Clancy movement: supporters gathering outside the courthouse, the “I am Lindsay” sentiment spreading on social media, and women identifying their own experiences with motherhood, depression, anger, and mental illness with Clancy's case. But Tim argues that Christians must ask a deeper question: Does mental illness eliminate moral responsibility? What does the Bible say about the human mind, evil, personal accountability, demonic influence, justice, and the shedding of innocent blood? From King Saul and Nebuchadnezzar to Judas and the demon-possessed man of the Gerasenes, Tim examines how Scripture treats mental disturbance, human depravity, spiritual darkness, and accountability before God. The episode also explores what could happen if Lindsay Clancy is found not criminally responsible, whether she could eventually be released from a psychiatric facility, and what her case could mean for the way our culture thinks about justice. Whatever the jury ultimately decides, Tim argues that legal responsibility and biblical accountability are not necessarily the same thing**. Amid the national attention surrounding Lindsay Clancy, Christians cannot forget the three children at the center of this case: Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months. Is our culture becoming so focused on explaining the actions of offenders that we're losing our ability to recognize evil, defend innocent victims, and demand accountability? Celebrating Murder is the Latest Social Media Craze
Why are people online celebrating Luigi Mangione and Lindsay Clancy—and what does that have to do with Massachusetts’ new abortion law? In this episode of The Deep End, Pastor Tim Hatch examines a disturbing cultural shift: killers becoming social media celebrities, victims being pushed aside, and sympathy replacing personal responsibility and justice. From the online fandom surrounding Luigi Mangione and the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson to the growing movement supporting Lindsay Clancy, Tim explores “forensic fandom,” victimhood culture, and why people increasingly sympathize with those who take innocent life. Then, Tim examines Gov. Maura Healey’s new Massachusetts abortion law, which changes the requirements for abortions at or after 24 weeks and places the decision within the physician’s professional judgment. What connects these stories? Tim argues that our culture is increasingly struggling to distinguish victim from perpetrator, compassion from moral confusion, and good from evil. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.” — Isaiah 5:20 Topics: Luigi Mangione • Lindsay Clancy • Brian Thompson • Maura Healey • Massachusetts abortion law • late-term abortion • forensic fandom • victimhood culture • biblical worldview The Deep End with Pastor Tim Hatch examines news, politics, and culture through a biblical worldview. ––––––––––––––– 🎙 The Deep End Podcast with Tim Hatch Faith. AOC Freezes Her Eggs — MAGA Goes Nuts
AOC just froze her eggs at 36, and she says it's about control. AOC is freezing her eggs at 36. But is this simply a personal fertility decision—or does it reveal something bigger about motherhood, career, control, and the way modern culture defines womanhood? After Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez publicly shared her decision to freeze her eggs, she explained that the process makes her feel more “in control” of her life. In this episode of The Deep End, Pastor Tim Hatch argues that those words reveal a much deeper cultural and spiritual question: How much control do we really have over our lives—and what happens when motherhood is treated as something to postpone until it fits our plans? From a biblical worldview, Tim examines the growing acceptance of egg freezing, delayed motherhood, career ambition, reproductive technology, abortion and IVF—and contrasts modern ideas of personal autonomy with what Scripture teaches about children, family, motherhood and the sovereignty of God. The episode also explores companies such as Meta and Apple offering egg freezing as an employee benefit and asks a provocative question: Does modern career culture truly empower women, or can it encourage them to give their most fertile years to professional ambition while putting motherhood on hold? But this conversation is bigger than AOC. What does the Bible actually say about motherhood? Are children an obstacle to personal freedom—or a blessing and heritage from God? Is motherhood merely one lifestyle option among many, or has our culture lost sight of something extraordinarily valuable about a woman's ability to bring new life into the world? Tim also responds to AOC's recent comments about the excesses of “Woke 1.0,” reflects on how political convictions can change over time, and ultimately challenges the idea at the center of the conversation: that any of us can truly control our future. For Christians, the answer isn't ultimately found in politics, technology or perfect life planning. It's found in surrendering our lives to the sovereign God who created us and trusting His purposes over our own. The Deep End with Pastor Tim Hatch explores today's biggest stories in news, politics and culture through a biblical worldview. In this episode: AOC egg freezing, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, fertility and motherhood, delayed motherhood, career vs. family, reproductive technology, IVF and abortion, biblical womanhood, children and family, personal autonomy, God's sovereignty, and the Christian worldview.
