Elisha and the Widow's Oil

Good evening — I am Anna, and tonight we open the old Book to Second Kings. "Elisha and the Widow's Oil" is the story of a widow with nothing left but a small jar of olive oil, two sons, and a debt she cannot pay — until the prophet Elisha sends her home with strange instructions: borrow empty vessels, shut the door, and pour. A second telling follows for the deep night: every vessel filled, the oil that would not stop, the debt paid in full, and nine small vessels of wisdom to carry into sleep. Dread-free, wrath-free, made for eyes closed and the day set down. 0:08 The Quiet House and the Widow's Tears 28:44 The Cry Before the Prophet 55:54 Borrow Thee Vessels Abroad 81:48 Gathering Empty Vessels 99:35 The Chamber Made Ready 116:30 The Shut Door and the Pouring 149:21 The Oil That Would Not Cease 178:00 Go Sell the Oil and Pay Thy Debt 214:04 Nine Vessels of Wisdom 230:56 A Blessing for the Night Produced with AI assistance.
