Spiritual Maturity: Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit Spiritual maturity isn’t measured by how long we’ve been in church, how gifted we are, or how much Scripture we know. The evidence of maturity is found in our character and the fruit our lives produce. In this teaching, Pastor A challenges us to take responsibility for our spiritual growth and examine the condition of our soil. God’s Word can be planted, but we must be prepared to receive it, allow it to take root, and let the Holy Spirit transform how we think, respond, and live. As the teaching continues, we look deeper at the Fruit of the Spirit and what it means to actually walk by the Spirit. Maturity changes our desires, our responses, what we tolerate, and even what we outgrow. Ultimately, our talk and our walk should match—and our lives should bear evidence that we are connected to Christ.  This message will challenge you to ask: Is my life producing fruit?
