Description
A secret affair. A husband's discovery. And a cover-up that stretched from the basement to the dumpster. These are the true stories where a wife's infidelity became the trigger for murder—and where the husband's attempt to hide what he had done only deepened the horror of the crime.
In this episode, we explore cases where a man's discovery of his wife's affair led to deadly violence and a calculated attempt to conceal the evidence. We examine the case of Brian Walshe, who was convicted of murdering his wife Ana after she disclosed an affair with a Washington realtor. Prosecutors alleged Brian killed Ana on New Year's Eve, motivated by anger over the affair and his own fears of going to prison in an unrelated art fraud case. He then purchased hundreds of dollars in cleaning supplies, rugs, and cutting tools, and disposed of her dismembered remains in dumpsters across Massachusetts. His Google searches included "best ways to dispose of a body," "Can I use bleach to clean my wood floors from blood stains," and "how long for someone to be missing to inherit." He was sentenced to life in prison without parole . We investigate the case of Caleb Flynn, a former American Idol contestant and church worship leader who shot his wife Ashley twice in the back of the head while she slept. Prosecutors revealed he had been having an affair with a 24-year-old church intern and had sent her over 100,000 text messages, including one that read: "If I could literally kill her and not go to hell, I would do it in a heartbeat." He staged the scene to look like a home invasion, opened the garage side door, and told police an intruder was responsible. He was convicted of all nine charges and faces life without parole . And we uncover the case of Prashant Kammar, a Bengaluru electrician who strangled his wife Reshma over suspicions of an affair. To cover up the murder, he placed her body in the bathroom, filled a bucket with water, and turned on the water heater to make it appear she had died from an accidental electrocution. His wife's 15-year-old daughter came home from school and found her mother motionless on the bathroom floor . These are the stories where infidelity became a death sentence—and where the basement, the bathroom, and the dumpster became the final resting places for the women who paid the ultimate price.
