Leonard Leo in Hot Water as Kavanaugh Scandal Raises Questions About His Mysterious Wealth!

Lisa Graves follows up on her discussion about Jared Kushner's "volunteer" role as America's ambassador with a story about how Leonard Leo acted as volunteer for the Trump presidential campaign and White House in creating and updating the list of Supreme Court candidates. She also details how--during the months surrounding the nomination and confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Court--Leo's wealth seemingly increased substantially enough for him to pay of his home mortgage and buy a mansion in Maine, where Leo would later host a tony fundraiser for the re-election of U.S. Senator Susan Collins of Maine. Collins cast the decisive vote to confirm Kavanaugh, who would go on to gote to overturn Roe v. Wade. She raises questions about the need for reform to require financial disclosure of potential conflicts and any outside earnings of volunteers who play a significant role in matters of public policy, such as what became the capture of the U.S. Supreme Court.
