Watch With Jen - S7: E32 - '90s & '00s De Palma with Peter Avellino

Cinephile, Mr. Peele's Sardine Liqueur blogger, and Captive on the Carousel of Time Substack author Peter Avellino returns to the podcast to cover one of the most under-discussed eras in brilliant filmmaker Brian De Palma's career. In addition to touching on his favorite recurring themes and biggest highs and lows throughout his filmography, we zero in on his fascinatingly varied '90s and early '00s output in the films RAISING CAIN, SNAKE EYES, FEMME FATALE, & more. It's the perfect topic for Peter Avellino, who actually "played" De Palma's voice on the podcast back in Season 4, Episode 31, when Megan Abbott, Alison Gaylin, and I covered the filmographer's earlier pictures.
