What if the reason you keep questioning what God is calling you to do has less to do with whether you’re qualified and more to do with who you’ve given authority to?
Maybe someone told you that you weren’t ready. That you didn’t have enough experience. That you weren’t the right person. Maybe someone made you feel like you didn’t belong in the room at all.
Or maybe no one had to say it out loud.
Maybe comparison did it for you.
You looked around and decided someone else was more qualified, more experienced, more polished, more spiritual, or already doing it better.
And their voice, or maybe even your own insecurity, became louder than what God said.
But who gave that voice authority?
In this episode of Well-Made Woman, we’re talking about what happens when we give people, insecurity, comparison, or our past more authority over our lives than they were ever meant to have.
Because all throughout Scripture, God used people who didn’t look qualified on paper. People with complicated stories. People who had been overlooked. People who had every reason to believe God should choose somebody else.
And He called them anyway.
Sometimes we’re waiting for permission from people God never gave authority over our calling.
So maybe the question isn’t, “Am I qualified?”
Maybe the question is:
Who have I given authority to?
If God has been stirring something in you and you keep finding reasons to talk yourself out of it, this episode is for you.
