Werewolf the Podcast: A Monster. A Child | Belphastus & Medieval Forest Horror (Episode 278)

Send us Fan Mail A child’s laughter in the darkness. A voice answering from beyond the window. And something in the forest that should never have learned how to make friends. In Episode 278 of Werewolf the Podcast: A Serial (Killer) Drama, medieval charcoal burner Matthieu wakes before dawn to discover his daughter speaking with a strange, blackened creature outside their home. When she reaches out to touch it, Matthieu sees something that fills him with terror—and sends the entire village into panic. As Father Etienne struggles to understand what has happened, Matthieu can only repeat one horrifying explanation: the demon has taken his daughter. Meanwhile, deep in the forest, the ancient sorcerer Belphastus is dealing with a rather more immediate problem: an exceptionally difficult bowel movement. His unpleasant morning is interrupted when a terrifying creature crashes out of the woods, followed by a cheerful little girl who calls it Mr Tibbles. With a frightened monster, a strange child, a terrified homunculus, and an angry medieval village converging on Belphastus’s home, something very strange—and potentially very dangerous—is about to begin.
