White Plains Hospital’s All Heart Team stepped out for heart health on October 24,2026 at the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk at Rye Playland. Participants gathered and took meaningful steps together to raise awareness and support those impacted by cardiovascular disease.
Westchester Talk Radio host Patricia Stark spoke with Kristen Alouisa – Executive Director of the AHA in Westchester and Fairfield Counties, Nancy Dowling – General Secretary USA, Mission and Sustainability at Danone, and Susan Zaripheh – Chief Research and Innovation Officer for Danone North America. They discussed the AHA’s “Nation of Lifesavers” initiative—which aims to ensure at least one person per household is trained in hands-only CPR—and how Danone’s mission to deliver health through food aligns with cardiovascular wellness. The group highlighted the importance of science-based, nutrient-dense eating, the value of cross-sector partnerships, and simple daily habits for heart health, such as eating a colorful diet, adding nutrient-dense items like yogurt, and getting outdoors for a walk.
