25 Years of Impact: Save One Life's 25th Anniversary Celebration

OCT 26, 2026

Description

Twenty-five years ago, Save One Life began with a simple belief: one person can make a difference in the life of another. This special episode shares the audio from Save One Life's 25th anniversary webinar, which brought together more than 100 people from around the world. Founder Laurie Kelly tells the story behind the organization. Watching her own son live with hemophilia made her more aware of suffering everywhere. Then, on her first trip to the Dominican Republic in 1998, she saw children in developing countries living without treatment. What followed was a global community of care. Save One Life has worked in 18 countries with more than 50 partner organizations, sponsored more than 2,500 children, and distributed over $6 million in direct aid. You'll also hear from program partners and beneficiaries around the world. Board President Michelle Kim thanks the donors, sponsors, board, ambassadors, and staff who make the work possible. The episode closes with a look at the next 25 years and a tribute to the woman who started it all.
