Amber Glenn on Dancing With The Stars, Olympic Gold Medals and Growing Up Too Fast

Olympic gold medalist Amber Glenn joins Megan to talk about growing up in figure skating, being judged for her body at the age of 12, and the mental health struggles that led her to step away. She shares how coming out and finding a supportive community helped her feel more confident on and off the ice. They also discuss Olympic pressure, her friendship with fellow Blade Angels Alysa Liu and Isabeau Levito, and the backlash she’s faced for speaking up for LGBTQ+ rights. Plus, Amber talks about Dancing with the Stars and learning to let someone else take the lead. Check out the latest episode of “Why Are You Like This?” wherever you get your podcasts, and on YouTube.
