The Danger of Superficial Ministry | Mark C. Biteler

Larry Nevenhoven, of the "Flee California Now!" YouTube channel, and I hit this topic pretty hard. The Lord revealed to the prophet Jeremiah that '"...they have healed the brokenness of My people superficially, saying, 'Peace, peace,' but there is no peace"'(Jeremiah 6:17; 8:11). This is what happens when pastors and other ministers operate without revelation from the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, judgment comes to both the pastors, and other leaders, but also to the members of the congregation who can no longer discern the truth. We must repent from attempting to "do church" without honoring the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to move in and through His own people in power, i.e., the gifts of the Spirit. This is basic to our Christian faith. Larry's website: larrywho.com Larry's YouTube Channel: @FleeCaliforniaNow Additional resources are available on our website. Mark C.
