<p>Episode 45: Doug and Smashley go over some older music and movies in this episode. There’s a lot of good new music and film but it’s nice to go back over some oldies and watch some movies from the watchlist.  </p><p>The Muffs played that good old rock and roll back in the 90s. Silversun Pickups has one of my favorites that does just that. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYd57rkvnpQ&list=RDDYd57rkvnpQ&start_radio=1"><u>Silversun Pickups - Lazy Eye</u></a> </p><p>The Murderbot Diaries starts with “All Systems Red” by Martha Wells. My journey has begun. It’s a fun read: <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/series/191900-the-murderbot-diaries"><u>The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells</u></a><strong>. </strong></p><p>“Fifty First Dates” has elements of Adam Sandler infantile humor with a little bit of heart, and some of the gags don’t hold up, but Drew Barrymore elevates it. It’s a fun romcom, just don’t dig too deeply into it or you’ll quickly get to “yeah, this isn’t even close to realistic” pretty quickly.</p>
