Someone Left With a Tattoo...

EmpowerFest is over, our feet still hurt, we're emotionally attached to everyone we met, and somehow a few left with a new tattoo. Normal Saturday behavior. This week we're spilling everything—from the behind-the-scenes chaos that no one saw, to the last-minute "we'll figure it out" moments, to why community always seems to show up exactly when you need it. We also talk about: Why getting a tattoo or piercing at a wellness event somehow made perfect sense. The local women-owned businesses that absolutely crushed it. The volunteers, kids, sponsors, and friends who became the real MVPs. Jayla's new wellness space. What we'd totally do differently next year... and what we'll never change. Here's the thing: EmpowerFest was never just about facials, shopping, or wellness. It's about creating a space where women walk in as strangers and leave feeling like they found their people. We laughed. We stressed. We pivoted approximately 4,000 times. We questioned our life choices around 7 a.m. setup. And we'd do it all over again. Because eventually... your sail opens.
