Opening Up About My Past Marriage 10 Years Later…

Ten years later, I’m finally ready to share a part of my story that I’ve carried quietly for a long time: my past marriage and annulment. In this episode, I’m opening up about being 21, feeling isolated and unsure of myself, and finding myself in a toxic relationship that ultimately led me to make decisions I never thought I would make. I share about the pressure, shame, fear, loss of purity, and secrecy I carried—and how those things kept me stuck far longer than I should have been. But I more importantly want to highlight how God met me in one of the darkest seasons of my life, how my family, friends, counseling, and community helped me find the courage to leave, and how Jesus slowly freed me from the shame I thought would define me forever.
