S2 E05 - Understanding Family Harm & Violence

Episode 5 of Tell Me Moir, Season 2, aims to explore what family harm can look like, where to go for help and the some of tools in place that are designed to protect victims both in court and in their daily lives. Together with Amanda Durham from the NZ Police Family Harm team in Dunedin and Bridget Byers, Family Law specialist, we focus on defining family harm and everything that comes under the term and some of the measures and practical steps people can take once they recognise they are experiencing abuse. The episode is a need to know about family harm, coercive control, police response, protection orders, special measures in court and the new stalking law.
