This is Part 2 of our Leh Ladakh road trip vlog, and it goes places most travel videos never show you.We start at the Hemis Festival, where centuries-old masked dances fill an entire monastery courtyard.Then we climb to Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in India, thin air and all.From there it's Nubra Valley, a stillness that's hard to put into words, and hot springs tucked away inside the mountains.And then there's Pangong Lake. A blue so vast it stopped both of us mid-sentence. Somewhere in between, there's off-roading through nowhere, one of India's remotest border villages, and a night sky neither of us will forget. We land in Leh, take a day to acclimatise, then head straight into it, monasteries, prayer wheels, ancient temples, and conversations with monks about a form of Buddhism that's been alive in these mountains for over a thousand years. What struck me most was how familiar it felt, deities and rituals that echo Hinduism in ways I didn't expect to find this far north. We spent an evening in the home of a Ladakhi grandmother who cooked us a completely home-style vegetarian meals. We also spend time just sitting with the mountains, at viewpoints , talking about partnership and gratitude. This is just the beginning of our Ladakh journey. We travelled down to witness it firsthand, and what we experienced went far beyond anything a camera can truly capture. During our journey, we walked alongside the massive wooden chariots as they were pulled through the streets by thousands of hands, felt the sheer scale of the crowds, and spoke to devotees, sevayats , and pilgrims who had travelled from every corner of the country - some on foot, some who had waited their whole lives for this one day. We stepped into the world behind the Yatra too - the rituals that begin weeks in advance, the craftsmen who build the chariots by hand every single year, the discipline and devotion of the priests, and the raw, unfiltered energy of a crowd united by belief. We shared meals with pilgrims, listened to their stories of sacrifice and faith, and witnessed a kind of collective devotion that is hard to put into words. This journey became much more than a vlog. It was a reminder of how faith can move people - literally and figuratively - and how tradition, community, and belief continue to bind millions together year after year. This isn't just a story about a festival, it's a story about faith, culture, and the power of showing up for something bigger than yourself. If this video touches your heart, please share it. What began as a mission to serve local communities has grown into a remarkable humanitarian effort that provides daily meals to over 35,000 students, restores vision through eye-care initiatives, and supports countless families through grassroots community programmes. Alongside Pankaj Bhai and his team, we stepped inside one of Nairobi's largest slums to understand the daily struggles of millions living in extreme poverty. We visited a care center for abandoned children with special needs, met inspiring caregivers, spent time with children from underserved communities, shared meals with school students, and witnessed firsthand the resilience, kindness, and hope that continue to thrive even in the most difficult circumstances. This journey became much more than travel. It was a powerful reminder of gratitude, humanity, and the impact that compassionate individuals and organizations can create every single day. This birthday was unlike any other. On my 33rd birthday, I visited Ujjain to seek the blessings of Maa Harsiddhi, Kal Bhairav, and Mahakaal. It became a journey of gratitude, faith, and self-reflection. From celebrating with loved ones to experiencing the powerful energy of Mahakaal, this trip felt like the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
